The Sustainable City Showcase took place in The Cloud on Auckland's waterfront in 2012 and 2013. It was New Zealand's premier sustainability event and included a buzzing marketplace arranged into different zones of the city – office spaces, home & lifestyle, fashion & beauty, transport, cafés and entertainment. 

The Sustainable Business Network is currently organising another major showcase event, which will take place on Auckland's waterfront in May 2015. This will be a showcase with a difference and further details will follow.


The Cloud at Queen's Wharf can be reached through main transportation routes and is only a short walk from the centre of the city.

On Foot:

Located at the end of Queen Street, The Cloud is within easy walking distance from the main businesses and hotels of Auckland.

Bus & Train:

Britomart Transport Centre is located at 8/10 Queen Street. Queen's Wharf is a short walk from the Queen Street exit of the station. Britomart is Auckland's Public transport hub. Airbus Express is Auckland’s airport into the city bus service. This bus conveniently commences and terminates its journeys at the Downtown Ferry Terminal, right outside The Cloud. Airbus Express is  a 24 hour service, which departs every 10 minutes on weekdays (peak) and every 15 minutes on weekends (peak). There is no public parking on Queen's Wharf. The nearest car parks are at Britomart (corner of Quay Street and Britomart Place) or at Downtown carpark (Customs Street). For maps and further information: Britomart, Downtown carpark
